After moving to Austin in 2008 and trying to figure out what I wanted to do fell in love with photography. In 2013 I graduated from Austin Community College with an associate degree in Photography.
After getting my degree in Photography, I decided to get my Bachelors in Advertising and Art History. I didn't want to pay someone to advertise my work so going to school to do it myself seemed like the right thing to do. And it was in more ways than one. TXST provided me with the oppourtunity to be a part of the American Advertising Federation's National Student Advertising Competition-- in the creative team.
Armed with an Advertising degree I was able to help multiple small businesses with their overall image, photography, social media, target market and overall branding for their businesses.
While being able to help my clients in multiple ways what I was lacking was in website design and functionality. So after taking a Full Stack Coding Bootcamp at the University of Texas-- I feel fully ready to help clients with their Front End Development needs.
